BREAST REVISION: This 30 year old lady presented with a capsular contracture (dense scarring) to her right breast after her initial augmentation 7 years prior. The scar around her old implant was cleaned up (capsulectomy), and her 325 CC silicone implants were exchanged for 475 CC high profile silicone implants. Following her surgery the patient developed a “hematoma” while away on vacation in another state. The “hematoma was evacuated and the implant was removed. Three months post hematoma evacuation, the patient underwent a re-aumentation to address the asymmetry of her breasts.
